Casio is giving its iconic digital-watch formula a modern upgrade with the new FB100W series, adding Bluetooth connectivity and step tracking while keeping the familiar retro design.
The watch connects to Casio’s smartphone app, enabling automatic time adjustment, world time for around 300 cities, activity logging, phone-finding and easier watch settings. It also adds dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, five alarms and a green LED backlight.
The FB100W measures 41.9 x 38.1 x 8.8mm, weighs 26 grams and offers around two years of battery life. It is rated only for basic water resistance, so it isn't designed for swimming.
The black and green models are priced at $64.95 in the U.S. The series has already sold out quickly in Japan and parts of Europe, highlighting demand for a more affordable digital watch with connected features.
