Samsung is expanding its latest One UI 9 software update beyond its newest foldable phones, bringing the update to the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra. The Galaxy S26 FE is also receiving the update following its recent launch.
One of the standout additions is My FanCam, an AI-powered feature that automatically keeps a selected person centered in recorded video. Samsung says it can reframe footage as the subject moves, making it easier to create focused clips without manual editing.
One UI 9 also adds more flexibility to Now Brief through generative and editable cards, while Now Nudge can provide context-aware suggestions based on activity across the Galaxy ecosystem. Interpreter gains a Thread View for translated conversations, and Voice Recorder can produce more structured summaries.
Samsung is also adding improvements to document scanning and security features, including Security Brief and Privacy Alerts. Scam call detection is expanding to markets including India, Canada and Japan.
