Apple is giving some U.S. iPhone owners a chance to receive compensation following a $250 million settlement tied to allegations over delayed Siri and Apple Intelligence features.
The settlement covers certain customers who purchased eligible iPhones between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. Eligible devices include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 models.
To qualify, buyers must have expected the promised Siri-related Apple Intelligence features to be available on their devices when they made the purchase.
The potential payout starts at $25 per eligible device and could reach $95, although the final amount may be reduced depending on the number of valid claims submitted.
Customers who qualify must submit a claim by December 21, 2026. The claim process requires basic contact information along with details such as the device's serial number.
Apple has denied wrongdoing and did not admit liability as part of the settlement. The case followed criticism over Apple's rollout of its next-generation Siri and other Apple Intelligence features, some of which arrived later than consumers had initially expected.
A final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for February 24, 2027. Payments could be delayed if the agreement faces appeals.
