IKEA’s Clever Cabinet Hides More Than Storage, Here’s Why It’s Getting Attention

IKEA is gaining attention for a clever storage solution designed to keep everyday appliances and clutter out of sight without taking up additional counter space.

The TITTEBO cabinet uses a tambour-style door that rolls smoothly upward, allowing smaller kitchen appliances to be stored inside and hidden when they are not being used. IKEA says the design helps create extra storage while keeping the kitchen looking more organized.

The cabinet is designed to fit IKEA’s METOD kitchen system and measures 60 centimeters wide and 30 centimeters deep. Its door mechanism is designed to open without requiring additional space in front of the cabinet.

The concept also reflects a broader trend toward hidden storage, with IKEA increasingly promoting ways to keep appliances and everyday items accessible while reducing visible clutter.

The TITTEBO is currently listed by IKEA India as a storage solution for small appliances, giving homeowners another way to make better use of limited kitchen space.
