Bybit is expanding its Copy Trading platform beyond crypto, allowing users to copy trades in traditional financial assets through its newly supported TradFi Perpetual Contracts.
The exchange said Master Traders can now open positions in TradFi Perps covering stocks such as Tesla, Apple and Nvidia, with followers able to copy those positions through Copy Trading Classic. The contracts are settled in USDT.
The move gives traders access to equity price exposure without opening a traditional brokerage account. Bybit’s TradFi Perpetuals trade 24/7, including outside regular stock-market hours, and allow traders to take both long and short positions.
Unlike owning shares, these products are derivatives and do not provide shareholders with voting rights, dividends or ownership of the underlying companies. Bybit also warns that leverage, funding costs, liquidity conditions and price gaps can create significant risks, including liquidation.
The expansion comes as Bybit continues to bring traditional assets into its crypto-native trading ecosystem. The exchange has already expanded its TradFi Perpetuals offering to a broad range of equities, ETFs and commodities, giving users a single platform for exposure to both crypto and traditional markets.
