Garmin’s First Smart Ring May Be Coming, and It Could Have 10 Sizes

Garmin appears to be getting closer to entering the smart ring market, with a new regulatory filing pointing to 10 different variants of an unannounced wearable.

A Brazilian ANATEL certification lists 10 Garmin products with similar model numbers, ranging from A05124 through I05124 and AA5124. The pattern suggests the devices could be different sizes of the same product—a logical approach for a smart ring, where fit is critical.

Acording to the information, the filing follows an earlier Indonesian certification that briefly listed a “CIRQA SMART RING” before the entry was removed. Garmin has yet to officially confirm the product, but the growing trail of regulatory filings suggests its screenless wearable lineup could soon expand from the wrist to the finger.

If launched, the Garmin ring would put the company directly against Oura, Samsung and Ultrahuman in an increasingly crowded health-tracking market.
